Our Story: From the Flight Deck to the Fast Lane
Rocket Transit was launched by Mike Blood, a former aircraft structural mechanic who served with distinction in the U.S. Navy. Mike joined the Navy in 1989 and was assigned to the elite Blue Diamonds squadron (VFA-146), maintaining F-18C Night Attack Hornets from NAS Lemoore and aboard the USS Nimitz. He proudly participated in both Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield, completing two CAG-9 WESPAC cruises and earning the respect of his peers for his technical skill and unwavering dedication.
After transitioning to civilian life, Mike continued his mission of service by supporting fellow veterans as a civilian contractor with the US Government and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Now, with Rocket Transit, he brings that same spirit of excellence, integrity, and commitment to the transportation logistics industry.
